About

I’m Leo, a digital artist from Linz, Austria, particularly interested in sound design, music, audio editing, as well as event production, video creation and 2D animation.

After graduating a music high school in 2019, I spent a few months abroad working in Finland. About a year later I knew what kind of further education I wanted to get and applied for the bachelor’s program “Digital Arts” at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

During my studies at Campus Hagenberg, which were focussed on game art, animation and audio/video design, I knew for sure: What I have most fun doing is audio editing/design.

Whether capturing Foley sounds, recording music or spending time with the voice actors recording lines, the entirety of sound design, from recording to editing, for computer games or an animated short film, brings me immense joy.

I am always working on personal projects, especially music, however I do love working together with friends on bigger projects. Those are usually games or animations, some of which have been shown at various film festivals, and even won us a price or two 🙂

In the Summer of 2024, after I graduated from University, I gained experience working in the Salzburger Landestheater as a video technician. During this time I have discovered my interest in theatre, which is why I started working at Theater Phönix in december of 2024.

Personally I really enjoy playing the piano or the guitar, running, and have recently started playing a bit of bass as well.
