Harbinger of heatstroke and heartache.
Interspersed with excerpts from poetry by Olivia Lehnert, this animated movie accompanies a young adult in snapshots of summer liminality.

This film shows insights of out protagonists life, the summer after graduation, dealing with summer depression.

I was responsible for the sound design of this film. The characters’ voices are very extremely pitched, which we chose to do on purpose. The movie has subtitles, however the characters voice lines aren’t that important to understand. What we tried to do is to get across a specific feeling rather than a plot. We also chose to keep the entire sound design diegetic.

The film will be screened at a few festivals mid to late 2024.

With this project in mind I created a few songs.
